The defining interior outline of the existing space, situated within one of Providence’s older downtown storefronts, created parameters that called for minimal design.
Working in plan and section together, the parallels of each extend to outline private seating, kitchen and bar. The wood-fin ceiling structure allows for places of intimacy and warmth within the material palette chosen.
This restaurant is a space for food, for people, for drink, for flowers and plants. It is a place for color and light to move throughout the minimal, gallery-like walls, continually changing and growing.
